Circle Oil reports that the DRJ-6 exploration well has been successfully tested in the Sebou permit, Rharb Basin, Morocco. DRJ-6 was drilled in April 2009 and not tested due to logistical problems at the time of drilling. Circle said testing confirmed a gas discovery in the Base Guebbas target. The well tested gas at a sustained rate of 5.363 MMcf/d (151.9 Mcm/d) on a 26/64-inch choke. The perforated Base Guebbas zone of 5ft (1.5m) at 3,419-3,425ft (1,042-1,044m) MD and 10ft (3m) at 3,432-3,442ft (1,046-1,049m) MD has a calculated net gas pay of 15ft (4.5m). The well is being completed as a potential producer.
