Hess Corp has discovered oil and condensate withthe Paradise-1 exploration well in the DeepwaterTano/Cape Three Points licence offshore Ghana.The well encountered an estimated 490ft (149m)net of oil and gas condensate pay over three sep-arate intervals. The well was drilled to a totaldepth of 16,436ft (5,009m) at a water depth of6,038ft (1,840m).Hess operates the licence with a 90% stake,while state-owned Ghana National Petroleum Corp(GNPC) holds the remaining 10%.
