Tullow goes Dutch for Nuon

Tullow Oil has swooped to acquire Nuon Exploration and Production from the Vattenfall Group in a deal worth US $423m. Tullow said the acquisition of Nuon will significantly enhance its North Sea business, adding a portfolio of 25 licences that include over 30 producing fields, numerous development and exploration opportunities and ownership of key infrastructure.
