Austria's OMV has agreed to pay US $866m for Pioneer Natural Resources' Tunisian assets. Pioneer has a number of assets in the North African country, including the Jenein Nord Block. The US operator will now focus on its US assets. The deal includes a 50% operating stake in the Jenein Nord-Cherouq production concession, as well as a 30% operating stake in Mona/Durra and a 20% interest in the Adam production concession.
