KPOC eyes Malay Kebabangan

Kebabangan Petroleum Operating Co (KPOC), a joint venture between Malaysia's state-owned Petronas, ConocoPhillips and Shell, will push ahead with plans to develop the Kebabangan (KBB) gas field offshore Sabah, East Malaysia. The Final Investment Decision (FID) by the partners to develop the KBB gas field is timely news for Malaysia, which is eager to see operators exploring for and developing new reserves to help combat its declining out levels.
