Mariner-Bressay ITTs: late 2012

Norway’s Statoil is pushing ahead with its plans to develop the Mariner and Bressay heavy oil fields offshore the UK following a six-month delay while it weighed up the impact of the increased tax by the UK government. Statoil now plans to make a Final Investment Decision in Q4 2012 and kick off Invitations to Tender (ITTs) in late 2012 or early 2013 for the chosen developments concepts.
