Cairn spuds Greenland wells

Cairn Energy said today that it has begun drillingoperations on two wells offshore West Greenland.The AT-7 well in the Atammik block and the LF-7well in the Lady Franklin block have both startedoperating.The Leiv Eiriksson, a fifth generation semisub-mersible and the Ocean Rig Corcovado, a sixthgeneration drillship, are carrying out the drillingprogramme offshore Greenland this summer.
