Statoil has hit pay in its Krafla wildcat well in the Norwegian North Sea. The find will probably be developed and produced by tie-back to one of the subsea installations in the Oseberg area. Well 30/11-8 S is located around 26km southwest of the Oseberg Sor field and was drilled with the Ocean Vanguard rig.
