Colombia’s state-owned Ecopetrol is looking tospend US $8.5 Bn in 2012, with the largest slice ofthe budget being invested on exploration and pro-duction activity.Ecopetrol plans to spend $4.1 Bn to increasingproduction in Colombia to an average of 750,000boe/d, up 10.6% on this year’s estimated average,mainly from the Llanos Basin.
