Sino strikes gas in Shanxi

Sino Gas & Energy has encountered multiple gaspay zones in the SJB1 well on the SanjiaobeiBlock in the Ordos Basin in Shanxi province,China.Australia-listed Sino Gas said its initial analysisof electric logs had indicated the presences of sixgas pay zones, with three of the zones exhibitinghigh porosity measurements, which suggestedthe potential for encouraging gas flows.
