Petro Matad has found hydrocarbons with the Davsan-Tolgoi-4 (DT-4) well in Eastern Mongolia. The discovery comes nearly a year after it found oil with the first well it drilled in the region. Initial analysis from DT-4 suggested an oil interval containing a minimum of 20ft (6m), according to reports. Petro Matad said the deeper regions of the reservoir also showed the presence of hydrocarbons and further analysis was being carried out at the site.
