Apache bags Alaskan acreage

Apache has been awarded acreage in Alaska’sCook Inlet.Among the tracts Apache won were portions ofthe Cosmopolitan field that had been developedby Pioneer Natural Resources, according to theAlaska Division of Oil and Gas. The Cosmopolitanleases were relinquished by Pioneer after itdecided early this year to focus on other assets.
