Austria’s OMV that drilling of the Bina Bawi 3 wellon the Bina Bawi Block in the Kurdistan region ofIraq has found hydrocarbons.Bina Bawi 3 found hydrocarbons in one of theprimary reservoir targets. The well is still beingdrilled and further testing is planned, includingevaluation of deeper potential targets.OMV has direct stakes in five blocks inKurdistan, of which in three as operator.
