Pi goes cross border

BG Group plans to tap its Pi discovery offshore Norway as a cross-border tieback to the Armada platform in the UK sector of the North Sea. BG said it will submit a Field Development Pla for the Pi project to the Norwegian Ministry of Energy and Petroleum shortly. First production from the field is slated for 2012.
