OK for Norway dive work

Statoil and Gassco have been given the nod by Norway’s Petroleum Safety Authority to carry out manned underwater operations (MUO) in 2010. The consent includes diving operations down to 590ft (180m) and operations will be carried out under a contract between Statoil and Technip. Under a joint operating agreement for subsea services with Statoil, Gassco will also be a user of services under the contract.
