DST planned for UK Stella

Ithaca Energy said it is preparing for a drill stem test (DST) on its Stella appraisal well in the UK North Sea. The 30/6a-8 well has been drilled to a total measured depth of 10,863ft (3,313m) to appraise the downdip extension of the gas condensate rich Palaeocene Andrew sands, the primary reservoir of the Stella discovery. Ithaca said electric wireline logs and coring have been run which confirm a 22ft (7m) gross Andrew sand interval.
