$6.7 Bn Ichthys fund raiser

Japan’s Inpex plans to raise up to US $6.7 Bn through a global share offering to finance the huge Ichthys LNG in Australia. Inpex will issue 1.22 million new shares in Japan and abroad, boosting its shares outstanding by 52%. Nomura Securities and Goldman Sachs International will be joint global co-ordinators for the issue.
