Green light for Zidane well

RWE Dea has been given the go-ahead to drill the Zidane 1 exploration well 6507/7-14 S in the Halten Terrace area in the Norwegian Sea with the Bredford Dolphin rig. The well will be drilled 14km northwest of the Heidrun field and 40km north of the ?sgard F field. Water depth at the drilling site is 1,211ft (369m). Drilling is expected to get underway this month and will continue for between 81-105 days depending on the results of the well.
