Tengizchevroil, a Chevron-led venture in Kazakhstan, plans to increase oil production from the Tengiz field to 185.6m bbl this year from 177.8m bbl in 2009. “We don’t discuss forecasts any further than that, but we are working to continue to expand production from our existing facilities as well as on opportunities to invest in expansion projects similar to the second generation plant,” Tengizchevroil told Reuters.
