UK Stella well tests positive

Ithaca Energy reports that a sidetrack well (30/6a- 8Z) on its UK North Sea Stella field has firmed up the reservoir target. The well intersected an 18ft (5.5m) section of Palaeocene Andrew sandstone reservoir, a similar thickness to that seen in other wells on and near the Stella structure.
