Two apply for Rockall Round

Ireland's 2009 Rockall Licensing Round has closed, with just two applications received.Under the round, operators were invited to apply for new Frontier Exploration Licences in an area of around 117,200sq km in the Rockall Basin.An application was received from Serica Energy and another from a group comprising Providence Resources, OMV and Sosina Exploration.
