Tullow Oil has made oil discoveries in Ghana and Uganda. The Tweneboa-1 well, in which Tullow has a 49.95% stake, in the Deepwater Tano licence offshore Ghana has been deepened to 12,921ft (3,938m) and hit 13ft (4m) of highly pressured oilbearing sands as well as an over pressured zone at total depth, said Tullow.
