Norway's Aibel has landed a US $9.2m Front-End Engineering and Design (FEED) contract for the Gudrun topsides development in the Norwegian North Sea. The Gudrun platform, which will be located approximately 55km north of the Sleipner A platform, is being developed to cater to the whole Gudrun area. The platform topsides are therefore being built to accommodate future tie-ins and have been designed with additional deck space.
