Wales terminal takes first LNG

The South Hook LNG terminal in Milford Haven, Wales, has received its first cargo of LNG. The terminal has boosted the UK's LNG import capacity and will be able to deliver up to 2 Bcf/d (56.7 MMcm/d) of gas when it reaches full operational capacity later this year. The terminal forms part of the wider Qatargas II joint venture which will supply gas to the UK from Qatar's North field.
