Appraisal on Norway Vigdis

StatoilHydro has been given the nod by the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate to drill appraisal well 34/7-34 A off Norway. The well will be drilled from the Borgland Dolphin rig in Production Licence 089 (PL 089) in the Norwegian North Sea after it has finished drilling the 34/7-34 Vigdis appraisal well. The area in PL 089 consists of Block 34/7, south of the Snorre field and northeast of the Vigdis field.
