AOC grabs Norway slice

The Arabian Oil Company (AOC) has acquired a 10% stake in Production Licence 332 (PL 332) offshore Norway from Talisman Energy. The licence is located approximately 20km east of the Gyda oil field in which AOC holds a stake. AOC said: “The newly acquired acreage is evaluated as a prospective area since there are a number of promising prospects as well as an oil and gas field which have been already discovered but not been developed.”
