ConocoPhillips is looking for a replacement drilling rig to spud the Kontiki-1 well in WA-314-P offshore Western Australian after agreeing to suspend operations with Transocean's Sedco 703 semisub contract. The Sedco 703 drilled the Poseidon-1 well and is due to be released by 28 May as work to plug and abandon the well nears completion.
