Aker 'can still build' Goliat FPSO

Aker Solutions says it can still win construction work on the Goliat project despite losing out in a design competition for the job to Sevan Marine. Aker said: “We respect that Eni has chosen a different concept than the one we presented in our offer. We are satisfied that Eni has commented that they have not awarded the contract for the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of the project, which the tender originally implied.
