UK Buzzard platform bid battle

Nexen has unveiled plans for a fourth platform on its giant Buzzard field in the UK North Sea,with bidding on the project set to get underway soon.The new platform has become necessary to cope with the large amounts of hydrogen sulphide discovered as part of the pre-drilling of production wells on the Buzzard field.
