The consortium developing the South Akcakoca gas field in the Black Sea offshore Turkey has been buoyed by test results from the latest well on the field.Toreador Resources and its joint venture partners TPAO (the Turkish national oil company) and Stratic Energy said the Akcakoca-3 well flow tested at a rate of around 20 MMcf/d of gas from 82ft (25m) of perforations between 3,830-3,918ft (1,167-1,194m).
