Vietnam blocks tender soon

Vietnam is preparing to launch a licensing round for seven offshore blocks on 11 June as part of its strategy to stem declining oil production.State-owned PetroVietnam said the deadline for bids is 21 September and that the blocks will be awarded in October. The bidding round was originally planned to kick off in April. PetroVietnam gave no reason for the delay.
