State-owned CNOOC Ltd has unveiled the Bozhong 28-2E (BZ28-2E) discovery in Bohai Bay off northeast China - with a cluster development now on the cards for the prospects in the area.BZ28-2E is located between the BZ 28-1 and BZ 28-2S oil fields. The discovery well BZ 28-2 E-1 is located in the Yellow River Mouth Sag. The well penetrated oil pay zones 115ft (35m) thick and gas sections of the same thickness. The well was drilled to a total depth of 8,449ft (2,575m) at a water depth of 66ft (20m).
