Afren ready for development

Afren will submit a development plan for a project offshore Nigeria in January after completing a successful second appraisal well.The company has completed drilling on the Okoro field in Nigeria. It sidetracked from the previously successful Okoro-3 well on OML 112 in the shallow water Niger Delta.The previous well confirmed the eastern extension of the field and a full suite of log and pressure data was acquired and the well was successfully tested.
