Reliance Industries is in clarification talks with Aker Floating Production and SBM over a final development solution for the Floating Production, Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessel required for the MA field offshore India, E&P Daily can reveal.The Indian operator is keen to produce first oil from MA in early 2008 and currently envisages a two phase development concept. The first stage would be an Early Production System lasting for 12-18 months, which would require an FPSO.
