3 Bn Qatar project kicks off

Qatar Petroleum and ExxonMobil have launched Phase 2 of the Al Khaleej gas project (AKG-2).The companies have signed a development plan launching phase two, which will see total investment of more than US 3 Bn, after the completion of the initial stage, AKG-1, which started up in November last year.
