Chinguetti reserves slashed

Recoverable reserves at the deepwater Chinguetti field offshore Mauritania could be slashed in half - and that's if infill drilling is successful.This morning Australian partners Roc and Hardman have both given their view on the future of the field operated by Woodside Petroleum.It was supposed to produce 70,000 b/d of crude but by mid-May this had dropped to 40,000 b/d and has now stabilised at around 35,000 b/d.
