Petrobras to drill off Colombia

Petrobras is to sink US 150m on exploration and development activity in Colombia this year, quadrupling last year's total, with much to be spent in the offshore Tayrona Block in the Caribbean.The Brazilian major will spend an estimated 35m on its activities in the Tayrona block, according to Dirceu Abrahao, chief executive of the company's Colombian operations. It is exploring the block in partnership with Exxon Mobil and Colombian state-owned Ecopetrol.
