Angola gas plant bidding hurdles

Bidding for the onshore gas plant for Chevron's Area A gas management project in Angola is facing some hurdles that could delay the contest.Five firms were invited to bid for the project - CBI, Daewoo Engineering & Construction, Fluor, Technip and the Washington Group. However, it appears that some are too busy or too concerned about the challenges of building an onshore gas plant in Cabinda province to put any strong intent into the bidding process.
