The Energy Ministry has awarded eight production licenses to Total and Tullow Oil, said Energy Minister Irene Muloni. The licenses cover Exploration Area One (EA1), operated by Total, and Exploration Area Two (EA2), which is operated by Tullow. He added that the offer of licenses ended a period of protracted negotiations and that it was "now time for serious work to start.'
