NPD Grants Statoil 2 Drilling Permits

The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD) has granted Statoil Petroleum a drilling permit for well 30/11-11 S and well 30/11-11 B in Norwegian sector production license 035. Both wells will be drilled using the Songa Delta (mid-water semisub) drilling facility. The wells are owned by Statoil, which holds a 50% operated interest, and Det Norske Olje-selskap, which holds the remaining 50% interest.
