China's record-high export quotas for its four main oil products risk drowning the Asia- Pacific market over the remainder of the year, as refiners had exported only around 51% of their allocations by the end of August (IOD Oct.4'16). Chinese refiners have received 46.2 million tons of quotas for the four products -- gasoline, gasoil, jet kerosene and naphtha -- this year, versus 25.41 million tons of actual exports in 2015.
