Zarubezhneft, Petrovietnam Eye Gas Supplies

Vietsovpetro, a joint venture between Vietnamese state Petrovietnam and Russian state Zarubezhneft, aims to start gas shipments from Block 04-3 in the Thien Ung field offshore Vietnam by the end of the year. According to Vietsovpetro's first deputy general director, Viktor Maltsev, the company is currently completing the final stage of facility construction for the field, including the installation of the wellhead platform's topside structure. Compressor capacity at the facility totaled more than 3 MMcm/d of gas.
