Donald Tusk, head of the European Union Council, the body largely responsible for setting policy in the 28 - member trading bloc, said on Thursday he was "quite sure" that EU sanctions on Russia, due to expire in July, would be extended. Tusk, speaking in Japan ahead of the G7 talks, was quoted by news agencies as saying that sanctions would "remain unchanged as long as the Minsk agreement is not fully implemented."
