Crude oil exports from two Russian ports--Novorossiysk on the Black Sea and Kozmino on the Pacific coast--were halted over the weekend because of storms. Russian oil pipeline monopoly Transneft said shipments from Kozmino at the end of the East Siberia-Pacific Ocean (Espo) pipeline were halted on Sunday, with forecasts saying the storm would last until this Friday, with a possible lull on Wednesday. Shipments from Novorossiysk have been suspended twice over the last 10 days because of storms and three-meter high waves.
