The International Energy Agency (IEA) has warned of amplified oil price volatility in its 2016 World Energy Outlook (WEO), prompting calls from its executive director for governments to examine and amend energy security policies. "We are entering a greater oil price volatility period, which will see ups and downs of prices much more frequently than before," Fatih Birol told a London press conference on Wednesday. "It is important that countries take measures to deal with price swings in years to come."
