Druzhba Row Pushes More Russian Crude to Baltics

Crude oil exports from Russia's Baltic Sea ports are set to grow even more sharply than expected this month to accommodate shipments being rerouted from the Druzhba pipeline to Europe after Belarus abruptly hiked transit tariffs (IOD Oct.4'16). When the loading schedules were released in late September, the Baltic Primorsk outlet was already slated to export an extra 157,000 b/d in October, compared with the previous month, while Ust-Luga was allocated an additional 28,000 b/d (EIB Sep.28'16).
