Inpex Seeks Better Terms for Onshore LNG

Japan's Inpex is seeking better fiscal terms from Indonesia for the Abadi onshore LNG project, based on gas from the Masela Block offshore Indonesia. Earlier this year, Jakarta rejected Inpex's preferred plan for a floating 7.5 million ton/yr LNG scheme and asked the operator to evaluate the cost of an onshore project instead ( IOD Mar.24'16 ).
