Iranian crude oil deliveries into Japan have spiked for the second month in a row, with June volumes nearly tripling from last year to 275,000 b/d, according to data from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. Japan's June imports of Iranian crude were up by 182,000 b/d from the same month in 2015, on the heels of a 61% year - on - year spike in May. In the first six months of 2016, Japan imported 206,000 b/d of Iranian crude, a 33,000 b/d increase from last year.
