Gulf Opec delegates said Tuesday there have been no calls for an emergency meeting, nor is there a need for one, even as benchmark Brent crude traded below $38 per barrel amid growing concerns over swelling global supplies and softening demand. There is "no need for a meeting. [The] Opec meeting just finished," one Gulf delegate said. "It's better to wait to see how the market will react to any development in the supply and demand."
