Royal Dutch Shell and BG shareholders will vote in January on the planned $82 billion megamerger of the two companies, both firms said on Monday. The Anglo-Dutch major is working hard to persuade shareholders that the deal works even in the current low price environment at a time when Brent crude oil prices have fallen below $37/bbl from highs of $100/bbl in 2014.
